News & Status Report:

GR  -   One of our old EOS collaborator Kevin Wolf died last week.
    -   Jessica Kintner can't make for this time slot. We will change
        next Tuesday's meeting to 12 o'clock.
    -   Declan is very close to sending out the collaboration policy
        which has been approved at Reps level.
    -   We should give APS rehearsal talks.
    -   our PC orders went out last week.

NS  -   I propose we should not all talk about the detector setup.
        I will talk about the method in reconstructing Xi- and since
        understanding the detector is very crucial to my method, I
        should probably talk about it.
    -   xdf update. I took the code from Chris and installed it here.
        It works on Unix and VMS.

BC  -   I still have problems with xdf on HP.

ML  -   I will test this new xdf code on Pentium.
    -   summary module is done. It will fill both run_sum and event_sum
        table.

DB  -   btf update. showed that the dEdx resolution is ok.

RL  -   We would like Dieter to assist us with BTF tracker to carry out
        tasks which are appropriate.

GR  -   For official pass1, we need to select either BTF or JTF,
        the decision should be made on Oct. 3rd.

CP  -   Heng reported Ydrift<0 problem, and I looked at the t0
        calibration file. There are 2 padrows with t0 larger than 50
        time buckets. We should reset these outlier to 0.
    -   cernlib version concern. We should get the most recent one from cern.

ML  -   We have set up a prototype pass1.kumac file.
